- Abraham ben Alexander Katz of Kallisk (Kalisher, Abraham)
- (1741-1810)Polish Hasidic rabbi. He represented popular elements of the Hasidic movement, but the odd customs of his followers evoked opposition. With Menahem Mendel of Vitebsk, he led a group of Hasidim from Russia to Palestine in 1777.
